May 30, 2023—CCO CEO Thom Sicklesteel has been appointed Vice-Chair of the ASME B30 Committee. “It is a great honor to be selected and to serve the industry in this way,” said Sicklesteel. “I am looking forward to continuing to impact the safety of our industry and save lives.”
B30 is where all the ASME B30 subcommittees report, including B30.5 Mobile Cranes, B30.3 Tower Cranes, B30.14 Pipelayers, B30.22 Articulating Cranes, B30.2 Overhead and Gantry Cranes, and others. B30 is also the committee that gives final approval to all subcommittees for their publications.
Together, the Chair and Vice Chairs form the Executive Committee for B30. Eric Fidler, Manitowoc, is the Chair, and Stephanie Wood, Terex, and CCO’s Sicklesteel are the Vice Chairs.
