April 2018—Safety Week is an annual event held in an effort to raise awareness of the construction industry’s continuing commitment to eliminating worker injury. The industry wide education and awareness event, sponsored by the Construction Industry Safety Initiative (CISI) and the Incident & Injury-Free (IIF) Executive Forum, encourages companies to highlight how the choices workers make each day contribute to safety. “The need to consistently make safe choices permeates every part of our lives.
