June 2016—CONEXPO 2017 is just months away and NCCCO is once again planning a major presence at the international construction exposition and conference. Scheduled for March 7-11, 2017, and located, as usual, in Las Vegas, Nevada, CONEXPO 2017 promises to be a major event with expanded exhibit areas and a packed seminar program.
A highlight of NCCCO’s presence will once again be the Lift Safety Zone (LSZ), which has been such a hit since its 2011 debut and will again provide an opportunity to interact with crane safety experts and NCCCO staff, and will feature practical demonstrations of CCO operator, rigger, and signalperson certification programs.
For 2017, the LSZ moves to a new location in the expanded Gold Lot which plays host to all major crane and equipment manufacturers. It’s also a short walk from the North Hall Lobby where a further NCCCO display will provide details about all CCO certification programs, including the new pile driving rig operator and tower technician certifications.
Attendees should check out the brand new seminars on key crane and rigging issues that will be a major feature of the event. Event organizer AEM has assembled a stellar lineup of presentations on a host of crane and rigging topics, many of them sponsored by NCCCO. Speakers lined up so far are veteran safety professionals and experts in their field.
