July 2015—NCCCO has been selected to present a paper at the National Safety Council’s annual Congress later this year detailing the “lessons learned” from two decades of crane operator certification.
Credentialing in Construction: What Have 20 Years of National Crane Operator Certification Taught Us? will be presented by NCCCO CEO Graham Brent on Tuesday, September 29 at the NSC Congress in Atlanta, GA.
“It’s a great honor to be selected by such an eminent body as the National Safety Council to present to a national audience the benefits of its experience developing and administering the CCO national certification program,” said NCCCO CEO, Graham Brent. “In NCCCO’s 20th Anniversary Year, it’s also entirely fitting since, as a much younger and less experienced organization, we participated in a similar presentation at the very same event over a dozen years ago.”
The difference this time, Brent said, was that the presentation would focus on what had been achieved in improving crane safety rather than what was previously, for the most part, mere “wishful thinking.”
Congress registration is now open at congress.nsc.org/pp.
