August 26, 2024—CCO is pleased to announce credentialing workshops for Practical Exam Proctors that will include an audit event immediately following each workshop.

The workshops are to be held in Pasadena, TX: 

• Rigger Level I to be held October 21–22, 2024
• Rigger Level II to be held October 23–24, 2024
  

Those interested in becoming credentialed in one of these programs will be able to take advantage of a unique arrangement by which they will attend the Practical Exam Proctor workshop and then complete their audit as part of the same event, at the same location, for no additional charge.*

As part of CCO’s move to online processes, registration is now done online through the Credential Journey in your Testing Personnel Dashboard in myCCO. For those who need assistance accessing the Testing Personnel Dashboard for the first time, please contact the Testing Personnel Credentials Team.

Prior to attending a Practical Exam Proctor Program (PEPP) credentialing workshop for the first time, each new Practical Exam Proctor (PEP) is required to complete the Proctor-Practical credential, which includes attending a Core Webinar, covering content common to all programs and is delivered virtually. There is an annual training access fee of $100 to maintain all PEP credentials, regardless of the number of credentials held. You will not be able to register for a PEPP credentialing workshop if you have not completed the Proctor-Practical credential.

In order to register for and attend this workshop and audit event, attendees will be required to participate in the audit event for the workshop(s) for which they register. All audits will be conducted at the workshop location. Workshop attendees will be assigned audit times to allow them to coordinate travel arrangements. Please note that audits will begin as early as October 21, 2024, and may continue through the weekend, based on attendee registration.

*Audits are only being offered to attendees registered for these workshops. Only the first provisional audit will be conducted as part of this event. Any additional audit(s) required will be subject to the second audit requirement as outlined in the Practical Exam Proctor Handbook.

Who Should Attend:

CCO reviews all potential participants' applications before admission to the workshop(s) is granted. Certification in the applicable program(s) is required when applying to attend the workshop(s). Spots cannot be reserved pending the Proctor-Practical credential or certification results. The workshops are strictly limited to 12 participants and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
