| Candidates may now take their CCO practical exam beofre the written exam. Previously, candidates had to take and pass the written exam before being eligible to take the "hands-on" portion of the certification program. NCCCO made this decision after a statistical analysis of the 30,000 practical exams and 100,000 written exams administered to date, as well as its experience with the Practical Examiner Accreditation Program, now in its seventh year. NCCCO also recognized the scheduling difficulties that taking the practical often presents and believes the removal of this requirement should expedite the process. |
