March 2019—TNT Crane & Rigging was the host for the 46th Biannual Meeting of the NCCCO Commission held March 29 in Houston, TX, with Crane Inspection & Certification Bureau (CICB) providing much appreciated additional hospitality. More than 60 Commissioners, Committee members, guests, and staff assembled for the meeting, which was preceded as usual by three full days of meetings of several NCCCO Exam Management Committees, including those with oversight of the NCCCO Mobile Crane, Tower Crane, Overhead Crane, and Signalperson certification programs. NCCCO’s Crane Type Advisory Group (CTAG) also met and made determinations regarding certain types of cranes that do not have a certification program dedicated to them.

The NCCCO Commission spent most of the day discussing matters of importance to the management and further development of NCCCO certification programs and policies, but the meeting also provided plenty of opportunity for more informal discourse among the more than 40 subject matter experts who gathered for the event.
