| The California Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board declined requests to extend the deadline for crane operator certification at their meeting, Thursday, February 17 in Sacramento. Stating that no convincing agrument had been made for an extension, the Board reaffirmed the June 1 implementation date by which operators of most tower and mobile cranes in the state must be certified.
